SWHC teams up with Start Up Stirling
SW are continuing to collect regular donations for Start Up Stirling throughout the 2023/2024 season. There is a collection box located at our clubhouse, and captains are happy to take donations at training.

ABOUT THE CLUB
Our Story
Located in Central Scotland, Stirling Wanderers Hockey Club has a Men's, Women's and Junior section. We play competitive and friendly outdoor and indoor hockey year-round. Playing on a water-based pitch at Forthbank, our Clubhouse has the best views of any hockey club in Scotland. We encourage everyone with any hockey ability, ranging from none to experienced players, to come and join us for a training session.

We currently have 3 mens and 3 woman's teams training and playing competitive matches throughout the season. Our fabulous junior section also has great training and competitive opportunities. We are always keen to welcome hockey enthusiasts of all abilities to our sections, so come say hi!
Ladies 1XI
Captain: Helen Neary
The Ladies 1st X1 currently play in National League 1. We are a competitive squad seeking to develop our hockey with an emphasis on doing so as a team. We are always keen to welcome new members and pride ourselves on our passion for hockey and our positive team dynamics on and off the pitch.
Ladies 2XI
Captain: Iona Craig
The women's 2XI is a competitive but friendly squad comprising a range of ages. Seeking to build on its recent good results, the squad is more than happy to welcome new recruits to its ranks.
Ladies 3XI
Captains: Sharon Pryor, Tonii Snaddon & Heather McIsaac-Hall
Last season brought the opportunity for the ladies section to start a new 3rd squad. This is primarily a development team looking to build player skill and confidence. This season they have entered and play in the the East District Development League.
Mens 1XI
Captain: Douglas Johnston
Currently playing at the top end of East District One, continually seeking to improve the squad's level of hockey. The teams always keen to welcome new recruits into the fold.
Mens 3XI
Captains: Martin Coulter
2023 has seen the introduction of a men's 3XI seeking to build a competitive squad and provide the perfect opportunity to learn the game in a competitive environment. New recruits are always welcome.
Mens 2XI
Captain: Carl Jessup
The men’s 2XI originally a development team, now with a focus on competitiveness, sportsmanship and self improvement. We welcome all skill levels and all ages. We pride ourselves on our team dynamics with the aim to consolidate in East District 2.
